Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: Mandan, ND Address: 1011 Boundary Street Northwest, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00 Pay Info: $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering exceptional professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of registered nurses, advanced practice providers, or physicians. You will utilize your nursing expertise and knowledge to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per their care plans, while ensuring their health, comfort, and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct resident assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered. • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. • Document interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medications, behavior, activity, and dietary requirements. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public. • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, communicating clearly and maintaining confidentiality. • Counsel residents and families regarding prevention and treatment plans under the direction of supervisory nursing staff. Qualifications • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with an Associate degree in practical nursing preferred. • If required, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. • Must have completed supervised clinical experience or have a minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience at another facility. • Possess a current unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board, maintaining required competencies and certifications. • Complete annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements.
