A Brief Overview
You will assist in executing care plans for a designated group of patients, performing essential care tasks while modeling professional behavior in line with our core values.
What You Will Do
• Contribute to nursing assessments by collecting, reporting, and recording both objective and subjective data.
• Deliver direct patient care safely and effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare delivery in your work area.
Education/Formal Training Requirements
• Required - Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Licenses and Certifications Requirements
• Required - BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from the American Heart Association.
• Required - Licensed Practical Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with physicians.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your workflow effectively.
• Proficient with general computer applications.
• Effective relationship-building skills.
Supervision Provided by this Position
• No supervisory or lead responsibilities are assigned to this position.
Physical Demands
• This position may require activities such as climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
• Must possess good balance and coordination.
• The role has medium physical requirements, which may involve exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently.
• Close visual acuity is essential for performing assessments, preparing data, and extensive reading.
• Frequent direct contact with patients, including exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
