Key Responsibilities
• Contribute to nursing assessments by collecting, reporting, and recording both objective and subjective data.
• Provide direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team both verbally and in writing.
• Engage in initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery in your assigned area.
Qualifications
• Education: Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Experience: Prior work experience is preferred but not necessary.
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in Tennessee required.
• Licensure in Mississippi and Arkansas is preferred.
Physical Demands:
• This position requires activities such as climbing, pushing, standing, walking, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently.
• Close visual acuity is necessary for patient assessment and data analysis.
• Frequent patient contact and exposure to body fluids.
• Ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
