Our unit features 30 beds and caters to a wide range of patients, including step-down, med-surg, and swing patients. Job Summary and Qualifications The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative care while advocating for patients to ensure an unparalleled experience. Key Responsibilities: • Assess patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, reporting any changes in patient status. • Perform procedures as ordered by the medical provider. • Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly. • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses. • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications: • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date. • (RN) Registered Nurse License required. • Associate Degree in Nursing required.
