You will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of your nursing expertise, employing appropriate age and population-specific standards in your clinical setting. Your responsibilities include caring for residents at all stages of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. As an RN, you will coordinate care, perform resident assessments, deliver education, and execute various nursing interventions. You may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel according to their job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competency levels. By providing adequate support and assistance to delegates, you will ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolve any care and service concerns. You will function within the boundaries of nursing practice laws and standards as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in your state of practice. Qualifications A graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is highly preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in an Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
