As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will assist the Registered Nurse in implementing comprehensive patient care plans and providing high-quality care within a collaborative environment. You will embody our MLH Mission, Vision, and Values in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to nursing assessments by collecting, reporting, and documenting both objective and subjective patient data.
• Deliver direct patient care safely and effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and update the plan of care.
• Communicate adeptly, both orally and in writing, with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery in the assigned area.
Qualifications:
• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing - LPN
• No prior work experience required
Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• Licensed Practical Nurse in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee
Supervision:
• This position does not include supervisory or lead responsibilities.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, walking, pushing, and reaching.
• Must possess good balance and coordination, with a capacity to handle moderate physical exertion (up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 25 lbs. frequently).
• Requires close visual acuity for tasks including patient assessment and data analysis.
• Involves frequent patient interactions, with some exposure to body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to respond rapidly in emergency situations.
