Hanover Hill is looking to welcome to our team a full-time professional Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our day shift (7-3) team with availability on the weekends and some weekdays. Primary positions available!

Requirements:
• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN License in the State of New Hampshire
• Ability to undertake a variety of care tasks and work on a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with healthcare safety and sanitation standards
• Always ensure confidentiality and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress

Responsibilities:
• Record assigned patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record vitals including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Skillfully observe treatments to identify progress, side-effects etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition, activity and progress and compose and update patient charts
• Supervise and assist nursing assistants providing daily activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, medications, etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and instruction
