Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health - Dothan, AL

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Respond to crisis situations using appropriate de-escalation techniques
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and community resources
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications:
• Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations
