What you'll accomplish in this role: • Lead with compassion and expertise to enhance patient care and comfort. • Utilize the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. • Carry out direct care interventions as prescribed by physicians. • Monitor patients diligently during admissions and throughout your shifts, swiftly addressing any changes in condition. • Administer medications accurately while observing for therapeutic responses and proactively managing any adverse effects. • Engage with patients and families, providing education on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge plans, making complex information accessible. Qualifications: • Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, or candidates must enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program to complete it within five years of hire. RNs with over ten years of experience are exempt from this requirement. • Preferred Education: A Master's in Nursing is ideal. • Licensing: Must hold a current RN license in North Carolina, with the possibility for eNLC licensure. Certification in BLS Healthcare Provider is also necessary. • Experience: A minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience is required.
