Full-Time Registered Nurse, Day Surgery Unit (DSU) and Preoperative Holding Area (PHA) in Golden Valley, NV

**Overview:** Sierra Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery Unit (DSU) and Preoperative Holding Area (PHA) team. This full-time opportunity offers a convenient schedule, full benefits, and a rewarding work environment. **Responsibilities:**
• Perform head-to-toe assessments on patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations
• Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families accordingly
• Establish a plan of care based on physician orders and patient condition
• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity, identifying and addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs
• Function as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Interact professionally with patients and families, involving them in the formation of the plan of care and discharge plan
• *Qualifications:**
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse Licensure
• Current ACLS & BLS certification
