
Full-Time Registered Nurse for Home Health Care in Abeytas, NM

Ambercare is excited to welcome a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team! This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for a stable Monday to Friday work schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Schedule: M-F Full Time (Conduct Supervisory Visits, Intakes, and care plans for all VA clients)
Location: Ambercare 420 N. Main Street Belen, NM 87002

As an Ambercare/Addus Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing, planning, and intervening using the nursing process to meet patients' healthcare needs.
• Observing and reporting any signs or symptoms indicative of changes in patient condition or family situations, documenting these in clinical records, and notifying the supervisor.
• Performing assigned nursing procedures, including administering treatments and medications per the State Nurse Practice Act and the care plan.
• Educating patients and caregivers on appropriate self-care techniques.
• Notifying Case Managers, physicians, and families of changes in patient conditions.
• Conducting LPN and Home Health Aide supervisory visits in accordance with state regulations to evaluate competency and provide necessary instruction.
• Maintaining data collection, recording, and reporting systems for proper service and measuring outcomes.
• Communicating potential risk management issues and reporting any abuse or unsafe practices as required by law.
• Collaborating effectively with patients, family, and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Upholding confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
• Maintaining regular attendance and being flexible to meet the agency's needs.
• Complying with all Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations.
• Adhering to all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to travel locally using a personal vehicle, possession of a valid driver’s license, and appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
