Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) applies the nursing process to deliver personalized care to patients in all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrating competency and practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge.
• Planning and coordinating care, conducting patient assessments, providing education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
The RN is expected to function within the scope and standards outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and within the American Nurses Association's guidelines on practice and ethics.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
