Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide tailored nursing care to residents. This role involves collaborating with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team, including healthcare providers, to effectively plan, implement, and assess care. As an RN, you will: • Demonstrate comprehensive nursing knowledge and skills tailored to residents' needs. • Provide care across all phases of preventative health, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. • Oversee resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions. • Act as a charge nurse when required and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate. • Ensure safe and effective resident care and facilitate issue resolution. • Function within the nursing practice's ethical and professional standards, as outlined by national regulations. Qualifications Applicants should possess: • A graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. • A current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing in the practice area or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. • Maintenance of department-specific competencies and certifications.
