Full-Time Registered Nurse in Chesapeake, VA

Summary
• GENERAL SUMMARY
• As a Registered Nurse, you'll plan, provide, and monitor individualized nursing care tailored to specific patient needs within your practice scope. You'll deliver developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care relevant to your assigned patient population and report to departmental management.
• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver age-appropriate psychosocial and clinical care to patients.
• Plan and monitor patient care based on established policies and regulations.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with all healthcare team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
• Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a valid Compact State license.
• MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing with relevant experience; a BSN is preferred.
• Preferred: RN certification.
• Pediatric experience is preferred.
• CPR Training is required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
• WORKING CONDITIONS
• Work is performed in a patient care environment with limited exposure to environmental hazards such as noise, dust, and temperature extremes. Expect exposure to communicable diseases and challenging working conditions due to necessary patient care activities.
