Position Overview – Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery RN
As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to expectant mothers and their newborns. You’ll work alongside a skilled OB team in a supportive environment that values safety, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.
Position Details:
• Full-Time, Permanent Position
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Available
• Flexible scheduling options
• Relocation assistance may be offered
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to patients in the OB/Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor vital signs, fetal heart tones, and labor progress
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth and postpartum recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Respond to emergencies using critical thinking and clinical skills
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP certification required or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
