Full-Time Registered Nurse Team Leader in Woodbridge, CT

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the daily clinical activities of the unit, ensuring person-centered care for all residents. • Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain compliance with regulations and facility policies. • Develop and monitor individualized care plans in conjunction with the care team. • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to promote unit efficiency. • Mentor and train nursing staff to foster their professional development and adherence to practice standards. • Conduct regular assessments to ensure quality care and compliance with all regulations. • Communicate effectively with residents, families, interdisciplinary teams, and facility leadership. • Act as a key decision-maker in the absence of higher leadership, ensuring continuity of care. • Collaborate on initiatives for performance improvement, quality assurance, and readiness for regulatory inspections. • Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and staff activities. • Participate actively in interdisciplinary care conferences and quality meetings. • Support the onboarding process for new staff and assist with performance evaluations. • Facilitate a safe and compliant environment for resident care. Qualifications: • Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut. • Graduate of an accredited nursing program. • Current CPR/BLS certification. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities. • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care. • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred. • Ability to work independently and excel as a leader.
