
Full-Time Registered Nurse Team Leader in Woodbridge, CT

In this role, you will oversee the daily clinical operations while leading nursing staff to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership to promote best practices and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily clinical activities of the unit, ensuring person-centered care for all residents.
• Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans in conjunction with the care team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to promote unit efficiency.
• Mentor and train nursing staff to foster their professional development and adherence to practice standards.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure quality care and compliance with all regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, interdisciplinary teams, and facility leadership.
• Act as a key decision-maker in the absence of higher leadership, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate on initiatives for performance improvement, quality assurance, and readiness for regulatory inspections.
• Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and staff activities.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary care conferences and quality meetings.
• Support the onboarding process for new staff and assist with performance evaluations.
• Facilitate a safe and compliant environment for resident care.
Qualifications:
• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and excel as a leader.
