Job Summary:

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team by ensuring efficient patient flow and upholding the highest standards of patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing essential medical procedures, managing medical records, and coordinating administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in completing regulatory requirements and necessary tasks (e.g., Vaccine Management, Quality Controls, Medication Management).
• Utilize critical thinking to perform patient assessments within your defined scope of practice.
• Conduct telephone and in-person triage, providing clinical advice according to established protocols.
• Educate patients on their health needs, adjusting your approach as necessary for effective learning.
• Participate in the orientation and ongoing education of clinical support staff.
• Provide support to practitioners during patient visits, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Conduct initial patient interviews to gather and document relevant medical information.
• Monitor and document vital signs appropriately for each patient's age and condition.
• Facilitate ordering labs and procedures in collaboration with practitioners.
• Review charts thoroughly prior to patient visits for a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms in accordance with best practices.
• Manage medical supplies in exam rooms, ensuring all items are current and available.
• Act as a communication link for patient care, coordinating with pharmacies and community agencies.
• Support the healthcare team in facilitating timely access to care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient results and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Assist in medical procedures under practitioner direction, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Monitor emergency medical supplies and tools, ensuring readiness at all times.
• Handle prescription refills in line with established policies.
• Administer vaccines and medications accurately, prioritizing patient safety.
• Demonstrate flexibility in your schedule and location to meet organizational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: Previous clinical experience in a physician's office preferred; active RN license in either VT or NH.

Compensation: Hourly wage of $32-$44.
