Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a much respected district to support nursing services at an Middle School Level. We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide school-based health services for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting while gaining valuable school nursing experience.
Position Overview
As a General School Nurse (RN), you will provide direct student care and routine health services within the school environment. The caseload includes students with seizure disorders and diabetes management needs, along with standard school nursing responsibilities throughout the day.
Location: Kingston, MA
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00a – 3:00p
Pay Rate: $55/hr
Key Responsibilities
• Provide daily nursing care to students, including routine medication administration
• Manage and monitor students with seizure disorders and diabetes
• Respond to urgent/acute health needs as they arise
• Maintain accurate and timely health documentation
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and district health personnel
Qualifications
• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• School nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must meet district requirements:
• School CORI
• Fingerprinting
• No DESE licensure required
