Health Nurse RN in East Rockaway, NY

We are a dedicated treatment facility helping patients recover from alcohol and substance use disorders through a full spectrum of care that includes detox, rehab, medication management, and therapy. We're currently recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic nursing team. This position focuses on integrating nursing processes to support patients' recovery journey. The RN works as part of a collaborative treatment team, ensuring comprehensive care and helping patients take charge of their health. Duties include coordination of medical, psychiatric, and medication-related services aligned with regulatory guidelines and individual care plans. Shift Times: 7:00 to 7:30, AM or PM Job Duties: • Administer medications in accordance with best practices and document treatments. • Conduct essential diagnostic procedures such as glucose checks and urine tests. • Deliver personalized care to meet patient goals. • Guide care planning and evaluate nursing interventions. • Assist in transition and discharge planning for continued recovery. • Adjust shift responsibilities to reflect changing patient needs. • Educate patients and mentor support staff. • Monitor and ensure compliance with documentation protocols. • Maintain adherence to clinical regulations and agency standards. Qualifications: • Registered Nurse licensed in New York • Graduate of an accredited nursing school • BLS/CPR certification required • At least two years of clinical nursing experience • Familiarity with detox or rehab environments preferred Key Competencies: • Strong clinical reasoning • Detail-oriented approach to care • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills • Tech-savvy with healthcare systems
