Your Role as a Hemodialysis Nurse
In this role, you will:
• Provide direct patient care for inpatients requiring hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, and develop personalized care plans.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients by addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs throughout recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis care standards and equipment.
Qualifications for Applicants
• Current RN licensure per state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (support available to obtain it).
• 6 months of dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
