Your Role as a Hemodialysis RN In this position, you will: • Provide direct patient care to inpatients who are receiving hemodialysis treatment. • Oversee care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, devise personalized care plans, and address patient concerns effectively. • Build impactful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to facilitate their recovery process. • Educate nursing staff on the care of hemodialysis patients and the operation of hemodialysis equipment with adherence to care standards. Qualifications • Current RN licensure as required by state regulations. • CPR certification is mandatory. • ACLS certification must be acquired within one year of hire. • CRRN certification is preferred; we are here to help you obtain it if needed. • A minimum of six months of dialysis nursing experience is required. • Preferred: At least one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
