High School Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time | near Newark, NJ in Ampere North, NJ

We are seeking a Full-Time School Registered Nurse (RN) to support a high school campus in Orange, just 15 minutes from Newark. This is an onsite, school-based position serving the entire school building, ideal for an RN with prior school experience who is passionate about supporting student health and wellness.

Position Details
• Location: Orange, NJ (15 minute drive from Newark, NJ)
• Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 26, 2026
• Setting: Onsite only (must be local to the area)
• Caseload: High school students, whole-building coverage
• Hourly Rate: $42+ (based on experience)
• Employment Type: W-2

Responsibilities
• Provide daily nursing services to high school students and staff
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Respond to student health concerns and medical emergencies
• Support students with chronic conditions and health plans (IEPs/504s)
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, families, and outside providers
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment

Requirements
• Active New Jersey RN license (required)
• School-based nursing experience required (clinical-only experience will not be accepted)
• Must be local to Orange, NJ
• Fingerprints required for both agency and district
• TB test and physical required
• Ability to interview in person and/or via Zoom
