A company is looking for a Full-Time Home Health Authorization Specialist. Key Responsibilities Process and enter authorization documentation to meet HCFA / MCC / JCAHO regulations and ensure timely billing Monitor pending authorizations and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle teams to resolve billing issues Provide statistical feedback on unbilled claims and coordinate billing paperwork flow between the branch and service center Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or college business courses preferred Four to six years of experience in a medical billing office with a focus on authorizations Strong knowledge of general business office functions and microcomputer usage Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a highly automated setting Commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics
