Home Health Care & Hospice CNA in Las Vegas, NV
Job Description
Physicians Choice Home Health & Hospice is looking for part time and full time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support the needs of our growing patient population in Las Vegas.
Schedule is Monday - Friday for part-time and full-time.
Our CNAs provide services for both home health care and hospice patients. Patients may be housed in group care homes, assisted living facilities, or private residences.

Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care under direction of RN.
• Provide care to both home health and hospice patients in their homes or in care facilities.
• Provide basic hygiene/medical care and companionship to geriatric patients.
• Maintain a reliable work schedule; however, flexibility is a must, as patient needs change rapidly and accommodation is a priority.
• Work independently without direct supervision while following Plan of Care prescribed by MD or RN-Case Manager.
Qualifications:
• Current CNA certificate in the state of Nevada
• Current CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
• Current automobile insurance
• Current driver’s license
• Current 2-step TB test (quantiferon or chest x-ray permitted)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Knowledge of medical, clinical, and anatomical terminology
• Punctuality and reliability
• Flexibility with scheduling, as patient needs change
