
Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Emigrant, Montana in Emigrant, MT
Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Home Health nursing or related fields
• Hospice experience is preferred; training will be provided if needed
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload of 4–7 patients per shift, depending on shift length
Schedule and Hours:
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 8-hour days (5x8 schedule)
• Ability to work holidays, especially Thanksgiving and/or Christmas, is a significant advantage
• On-call duty 2–4 weekday nights per week
• Weekend coverage required 1–3 times during the 13-week period
• Start date available immediately
Responsibilities:
• Deliver community-based nursing care, excluding services within assisted living facilities
• Provide inpatient support on the Med/Surg floor as needed
• Manage patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and symptom management with a focus on patient comfort and dignity
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and support for patients and families
