Reports To: Associate Director, Home Health Branch Administrator FLSA: Exempt Work Schedule: Full-time/40 Hours Position Type: On-site Branch Location: Charleston, SC • *** $10,000 Associated Sign-on Bonus **** • *** This position includes relocation assistance based on individual circumstances and company policy. **** This role is located at our Charleston, SC branch and does not support remote or hybrid work arrangements. The RN Clinical Operations Manager will lead and oversee direct patient care services delivered by our clinical staff, focusing on both clinical quality and operational efficiency in home healthcare. • Develop, plan, and implement effective clinical operations for the location. • Conduct and delegate patient assessments, care plan updates, and adherence to policies and procedures. • Manage caregiver assignments to ensure optimal care delivery. • Oversee patient admissions and ensure they meet the required criteria, assigning the appropriate clinicians to each case. • Support and guide clinicians in delivering quality home care services, being available for assistance during operating hours. • Help clinicians establish patient goals and develop comprehensive Plans of Care. • Monitor case documentation for compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, ensuring timely audits and billing. • Facilitate communication between team members, physicians, and caregivers for effective care outcomes. • Collaborate with the Branch Director and Finance Department on revenue and budget goals. • Engage in sales and marketing initiatives to promote services. • Supervise clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies and overall performance management. • Handle employee discipline and corrective actions fairly and in line with company protocols. • Participate in hiring and training of direct care clinicians, providing coaching and assessing performance. • Assess educational needs of staff and deliver ongoing training programs as necessary. • Utilize Performance Improvement principles to analyze and resolve operational issues. • Review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance, optimizing care delivery. • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives, collaborating with Utilization Review for performance analysis. • Provide direct patient care during emergencies as needed. • Act as Branch Director in their absence. • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Utilize your expertise to make a difference! Education: • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred. License/Certifications: • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact State RN license in South Carolina. • Current CPR and/or BLS certification. Experience/Skills Required: • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. • Prior experience in home health, hospice, or palliative care preferred. • Management and leadership skills are advantageous. • Familiarity with OASIS documentation preferred; certification is a plus. • Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred. • Basic understanding of CMS PDGM preferred. Additional Information • Normal Hours: M-F / 8 am - 5 pm (ET) • On-Call Expectation: Yes, with a rotating schedule. • Branch Size: 700+ Census (5.0 STAR rating) • Annual Bonus Eligible: Yes, with quarterly and annual payouts. Compensation: The estimated salary range for this role is $77,200 - $106,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position also includes a bonus incentive plan.
