As a Home and Community Based Services Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling individuals to live comfortably in their own homes.
• This is a PRN/Inconsistent role focused on Home Visits for Hospice Care.
• CNA license in NJ is required.
• Our Business Hours are Mon-Fri, 8AM-4:30PM, with evening and weekend shifts available.
• Previous home care experience is preferred.
• Our service area covers a 50-mile radius; candidates must be willing to travel to see patients within this range.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as necessary.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and using the EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment correctly, and respond to client needs promptly.

Required Qualifications:
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transport.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and independently.
• Ability to operate in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 6 months of home care experience.
Pay is determined by various factors such as local labor market, education, experience, certifications, and more. We offer comprehensive benefits, including a benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility). The hourly pay for this role ranges from $14.00 to $27.69, based on full-time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
