As a Home and Community Based Services Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling individuals to live comfortably in their own homes. • This is a PRN/Inconsistent role focused on Home Visits for Hospice Care. • CNA license in NJ is required. • Our Business Hours are Mon-Fri, 8AM-4:30PM, with evening and weekend shifts available. • Previous home care experience is preferred. • Our service area covers a 50-mile radius; candidates must be willing to travel to see patients within this range. Primary Responsibilities: • Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders. • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as necessary. • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and using the EVV system. • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment correctly, and respond to client needs promptly. You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an atmosphere that challenges you and aids in developing skills for potential advancement. Required Qualifications: • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transport. • Current CPR certification. • Flexibility to work varied hours and independently. • Ability to operate in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition. Preferred Qualifications: • At least 6 months of home care experience. Pay is determined by various factors such as local labor market, education, experience, certifications, and more. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $14.00 to $27.69, based on full-time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
