Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts including every other weekend

Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 per year

Your Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine appropriateness of hospice services.
• Initiate the admission process by educating and informing patients and families about available services.
• Obtain informed consent from patients and families.
• Provide thorough nursing assessments, create initial care plans, and implement interventions to enhance patient and family comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications:
• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Active registered nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• 1 year of hospice experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Able to make independent decisions in critical situations.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, families, visitors, and agency personnel.
• Knowledgeable about quality assessment and assurance procedures.
