As a Hospice RN, you will be providing compassionate care to hospice patients either in their homes or at various facilities. Your role will involve collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care in their final stages of life. You'll also provide emotional support for families during this difficult time, making a real difference in their lives.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• Collaborate with the RN manager to create and implement a client-driven plan of care aimed at achieving positive health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to hospice care through active participation in chart reviews.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to maintain competency in nursing practices.
• Provide high-quality services that meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Adhere to the policies of the organization within the scope of professional nursing practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Comply with the Corporate Compliance Program in all aspects of hospice care delivery.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Nevada or a temporary license with the potential to obtain a permanent license.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes or facilities within the Las Vegas area to provide comfort care.
• Willingness to participate in weekend and/or after-hours care as needed.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for travel to patient sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Experience in community health, critical care, oncology, HIV/AIDS, or medical-surgical settings.
• Prior hospice experience, particularly in a home hospice agency.
• Familiarity with care standards and regulations relevant to hospice services.
