Position Overview:The Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) with Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality hospice care in the comfort of patients' homes. Your responsibilities encompass providing skilled nursing care, pain management, and emotional support to patients facing end-of-life challenges. This role supports multiple teams by covering on-call shifts, float assignments, intake, triage, admissions, and providing care at the Hospice House. The Per Diem RN ensures the continuing of care while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:1. Current and Unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in Washington State. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication. 3. Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills. 4. Moderate computer skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Strong organizational and time management abilities. 7. One year of post-graduate nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, home health, or acute care. 8. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations. 9. This position is designated as safety-sensitive and will require pre-employment drug testing, which includes cannabis testing in WA State.
Per Diem Minimum Requirments1. Available to work two (2) shifts per month. 2. Available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. 3. Available to work two (2) holidays per twelve (12) month period.
Preferred Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 2. Experience in triage, intake, and admissions. 3. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).

CompensationHiring Range: $37.67/hour - $57.22/hour
Premiums:· $2.50/hour Weeknight· $2.25/hour Weekend day· $4.75/hour Weekend Night· $4.00/hour On Call Standby· $2.00/hour Per Diem

Screenings: Pass criminal background and drug screenings. 8. Training and Orientation: Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs. 10. Continuing Education: Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training be designated deadlines.11. Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certifications(s) required for the role. 12. Language Proficiency: Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.13. Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
