What You Will Do as a Hospice RN Field Nurse At Dignity Care Hospice, a Hospice RN Field Nurse career is more than a job or “a calling” – it’s a chance to leave a legacy of service and love on someone’s life. As a Hospice RN Field Nurse, you will provide support to patients and families to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Some of your primary responsibilities will include: • Completing an initial assessment of patient and family to determine hospice care needs. Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing • Active RN license • One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience • Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of hospice/home health experience preferred
