Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall operations of the hospice branch, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards (CMS, Medicare, Joint Commission, etc.).
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure prompt and accurate documentation of hospice services.
• Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate an interdisciplinary hospice team, which includes RN Clinical Managers, RNs, LPNs, social workers, chaplains, CNAs, and volunteers.
• Manage patient admissions and care planning to facilitate a smooth and efficient intake process.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence in hospice nursing, end-of-life care, and family support.
• Conduct performance evaluations, manage workloads equitably, and address team concerns promptly.
• Lead initiatives for continuous quality improvement (CQI) and maintain survey readiness at all times.
• Monitor financial performance, overseeing expenses, payroll, supply costs, and budgeting while driving branch revenue through effective management of patient census and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with physicians, referral sources, and the wider community.

About You:
• Current RN license in the state of employment (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation.
• Proven track record in managing teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for patients and their families.
