An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Post-Anesthesia Care (RN-PACU) to contribute to high-quality patient recovery services. This contract position offers a structured 4x10 schedule, Monday through Friday, with one non-fixed day off each week and no on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and provide post-operative care to patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assess vital signs and pain levels, and communicate effectively with surgical teams.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Administer medications and manage airway support as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current and valid RN licensure.
• Proven experience in PACU or similar post-anesthesia nursing roles.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
