ICU / Med-Surg Float Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift - 26-00552 in Haverhill, MA

About the position "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to critically ill or injured patients in a 3-bed Intensive Care Unit within a critical access hospital. This role also includes floating to a 25-bed mixed-acuity Medical/Surgical unit , supporting a diverse adult patient population. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires collaboration across ICU and Med-Surg settings. Responsibilities • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, identifying subtle or acute changes • Provide direct critical care to ICU patients, including post-surgical and complex medical cases • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans • Respond effectively to medical emergencies, including rapid response and code situations • Educate patients and families throughout treatment and recovery • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care on a mixed-acuity inpatient unit • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality standards Requirements • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program • Active New Hampshire RN license • ICU or critical care experience preferred • Medical-Surgical experience acceptable (cross-training available) • BLS required ; ACLS preferred • Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment Nice-to-haves • ICU or critical care experience preferred • ACLS preferred
