Position Summary

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with professional nursing standards and state regulations. The RN applies clinical judgment, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients while advocating for patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform ordered procedures, patient monitoring, and therapeutic interventions
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Translate complex medical information into clear, understandable education
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based nursing practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic care plans
• Support discharge planning and patient self-management education
• Uphold ethical standards, professional practice, and organizational values

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience (within the last 3 years)
• Higher-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg candidates considered
• Florida RN License or approved multistate compact license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start
• ACLS required within 30 days of start
• TNCC or CCRN (Adult) required within 1 year of start

Compensation & Shift Differentials

Base Pay Range: (Based on Experience)
• Minimum: $30.60/hr
• Mid: $38.25/hr (8 years of experience)
• Maximum: $45.90/hr (17+ years of experience)

Shift Differentials:
• Nights: $4.25/hr
• Weekends: $3.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus & Relocation
• Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for Day Shift
• Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for Night Shift
• Relocation Assistance: Available
