A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide specialized care within a neurocritical care setting. This position offers the chance to work with complex neurological and post-surgical patients, managing critical conditions including strokes, respiratory distress, and COVID-19 complications. The skilled nurse will contribute to vital patient outcomes utilizing advanced nursing protocols and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver expert nursing care to neuro ICU patients with complex post-operative and neurological conditions
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using advanced assessment skills
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records for accurate and timely documentation
• Administer and manage critical procedures such as External Ventricular Drain (EVD) care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to critical care units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Maintain established nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure quality care delivery

Desired Qualifications:
• Current RN license with ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Previous experience managing neurological cases and complex surgery recovery preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Work Schedule:
