Job Description
Located in the serene setting of Lapwai, ID, this contract role places you in a vital position to assess patient conditions, implement tailored care plans, and assist physicians with advanced procedures. You will manage medical equipment such as ventilators and intra-aortic balloon pumps, administer IV fluids and medications, and provide essential support to patients and their families. Your role will also involve responding to emergencies, collaborating with healthcare teams, and occasionally handling pre- and post-operative care, case management, or administrative duties.
Qualifications:
• Valid Idaho RN license or multi-state compact license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical care skills
• Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Responsibilities:
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
• Administer treatments including medications and wound care
• Operate and adjust ventilators and other critical care equipment
• Support physicians during procedures and in emergency responses
• Advocate for patient well-being and educate families on care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
