ICU RN - Manitowoc, Wisconsin in Manitowoc, WI

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing specialized critical care in a supportive environment, this ICU nursing position in Manitowoc, WI offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population including general ICU, stroke, COVID, medical, surgical, behavioral health, and overdose cases. This contract role allows experienced RNs to apply their expertise in a lower acuity ICU setting within a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. Key Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience required. • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. • Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac strips, ventilator management, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and line care. • Experience with proning patients and use of bedside and nursing station telemonitoring. • Comfortable floating between Cardiac and Stepdown units as needed. • Familiarity with EPIC charting system, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis medication systems.
