ICU RN - Providence, RI in North Seekonk, MA

A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in intensive care. This contract position spans 13 weeks and offers the chance to work in a dynamic ICU environment where advanced skills in patient assessment and intervention are essential.

Location: Providence, Rhode Island

Qualifications and Licensing:
• Current Rhode Island RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proven experience in ICU nursing required

Schedule and Shift:
• 36 or 48-hour night shifts
• Travelers assigned to a home unit with staffing levels reviewed every 4 hours
• Ability to float up to 3 times per shift as needed, with travelers having priority per union contract

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients using specialized nursing knowledge
• Monitor and assess patient condition continuously and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies and union agreements while maintaining flexibility in assignment
