A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in ICU care, specifically within a neurological intensive care setting. Schedule: • Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:4507:15) • Every other weekend scheduled Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a Neuro ICU setting • Monitor patient conditions, administer medication, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams • Respond to emergency situations, including participation on the units Emergency Team as assigned • Support patient and family education and communicate care plans effectively Qualifications and Experience: • Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPI required; NIHSS preferred • Experience with Epic electronic health records system mandatory • Ability to float to other intensive care units as needed • Willingness to participate in emergency response protocols as directed by unit management • Acceptance of first-time travelers to this role • Professional appearance with royal blue scrubs as dress code This contract role demands adaptability and clinical expertise, offering exposure to a high-acuity patient population within a respected academic medical center.
