Key Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a 2:1 patient ratio ICU setting • Utilize advanced clinical skills including ventilator and sedation management, and medication titration • Perform and assist with procedures like trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion • Adhere to unit policies using state-of-the-art equipment such as GE monitors, Drager ventilators, and Nova glucometers • Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Meditech system • Communicate effectively with patients and families adhering to AIDET protocols • Collaborate with unit secretaries and technicians to support smooth operations • Participate in floating rotation with full-time and travel staff Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude • Experience with ventilators, sedation, and medication titration strongly preferred • Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled Work Schedule: • Every other weekend coverage • Floating schedule in rotation with other travelers and full-time staff Additional Details: • Dress code includes charcoal gray scrubs • Work in a Trauma III certified facility equipped with the latest ICU technology • Positive work environment supported by a skilled and experienced team Take the next step in your nursing career with this engaging ICU contract opportunity in Smyrna, TN.
