ICU RN - Vernal, Utah in Maeser, UT

A registered nurse with ICU experience is needed for a contract position in Vernal, Utah. This opportunity offers the chance to provide critical care in a respected healthcare environment known for its quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols in alignment with hospital standards.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven ICU experience providing high-level patient care.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Schedule/Hours:
• Monday through Thursday shifts.

Additional Details:
This position is offered on a contract basis and is ideal for those located more than 60 miles away who can travel to Vernal. Orientation sessions are available monthly during the second full week.

This role supports providing care in a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with a 5-star CMS rating, a designated Level IV Trauma Center, and several state-recognized accreditations.
