DescriptionImaging Nurse (RN) – PRN Cardiac CT Location: St. Augustine, FL Position Type: PRN / As Needed Schedule: 1–2 half days per week (as needed) Join the #1 Outpatient Imaging Team in Northeast Florida Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a skilled Imaging Nurse (RN) to support and expand our Cardiac CT program at our St. Augustine location. This PRN role is essential to increasing Cardiac CT capacity and ensuring procedures follow established SOPs currently in place at our other centers. This position is ideal for a nurse with Cardiac CT experience who enjoys flexible scheduling, procedural nursing, and working in a high-quality outpatient imaging environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and perform nursing functions for Cardiac CT procedures in accordance with established SOPs Prepare patients for Cardiac CT exams, including pre-procedure assessment and medication review Administer cardiac medications (e.g., beta blockers, nitroglycerin) per protocol and provider orders Start IVs and administer contrast agents as needed for CT exams Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in condition Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout the exam process Collaborate with CT technologists, radiologists, and providers to ensure efficient workflow Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR Follow all clinical policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures Assist in maintaining consistency of Cardiac CT protocols across locations QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (required) Imaging Nurse or CT-certified nurse with Cardiac CT experience (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred; may be required based on procedure acuity) Experience administering cardiac medications and monitoring cardiac patients Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment Strong critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills Work AvailabilityThis is a PRN (as-needed) position, typically requiring coverage 1–2 half days per week, based on operational needs and your availability.
