Infection Control Nurse RN (Psychiatric Setting) in Las Vegas, NV

SunArch is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention & Infection Control Nurse to support our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). This role is responsible for overseeing infection prevention programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting patient and staff safety in a behavioral health setting. Key Responsibilities • Lead and maintain the facility’s Infection Prevention Program • Oversee Infection Control practices in accordance with CDC, CMS, Joint Commission, and Nevada state regulations • Conduct infection surveillance, monitoring, and reporting • Develop, implement, and maintain infection-related policies and procedures • Educate and train clinical and non-clinical staff on infection prevention practices • Perform audits and support ongoing survey readiness • Lead response efforts for exposures, outbreaks, and infection-related incidents • Collaborate with nursing leadership, medical staff, quality, and administration Required Qualifications • Active RN license (Nevada) • Infection Prevention certification (CIC or equivalent) required • Psychiatric / Behavioral Health experience required • Experience overseeing both Infection Prevention and Infection Control • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications • Experience in PRTF, inpatient psych, or residential treatment settings • Survey and accreditation readiness experience • Strong organizational and communication skills
