Entity Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type Employee Worker Sub-Type​ Regular Cost Center CC005567 LAN - 8th Floor Infusion (LMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly, Salary Pay Grade Health-29 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Description As the Oncology RN Manager, you’ll work consistently with a specific multidisciplinary oncology team, serving as a central hub for patient care coordination. You’ll help guide patients smoothly from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, or palliative care—making sure nothing falls through the cracks and every transition feels intentional and supported. What You’ll Do • Coordinate all clinical care within the oncology clinic to maximize patient safety, quality outcomes, and satisfaction—for both patients and colleagues • Utilize the nursing process (Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation) to coordinate patient care in the clinic setting • Manage and support: • Order entry and EPIC In Basket communication • Patient education and individualized care planning • Appointment coordination and follow-up • Transitions between systems, locations, and therapies (Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Chemotherapy, Palliative Care, Survivorship) • Provide hands-on clinical support, including: • Patient triage • Medication administration • Assisting with procedures • Ongoing care coordination during clinic visits • Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and shared accountability Additional Job Description Experience • Previous oncology nursing experience preferred • Infusion nursing experience strongly preferred Education • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications • Active RN licensure with the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state (required) • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (required or must be obtained) • Current BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
