We are currently seeking skilled candidates for the RN Infusion role at levels I and II. Your placement will be determined based on your qualifications and experience. Regardless of your level, you'll play a key role in patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities as you advance.
Key Responsibilities:
• RN Infusion I/II:
• Apply your clinical nursing skills to ensure safety and comfort for patients and families, adhering to all legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional infusion care through patient education and the administration of medications such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV therapies.
• Assess physiological and psychosocial needs, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient concerns.
• RN Infusion II:
• Perform all duties outlined for RN Infusion I, while taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications (All Levels):
• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Hold a valid and current Texas RN license.
• Complete the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months of RN experience or 1+ years of Kelsey Seybold experience in lieu of 6 months with approval from the Kelsey Seybold Director of Nursing, Cancer Services.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Proficiency in using computers.
• Strong skills in IV insertion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications for RN Infusion II:
• 5+ years of clinical RN experience.
• 2+ years in infusion, oncology, or a related field within a clinical setting, plus 1 year of waived testing and specimen processing experience.
Compensation is competitive and based on factors like local labor markets, education, and experience. Expect to earn between $28.94 and $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
