Job Description

Position: Infusion RN - Infusion West - 0.9 FTE Day Location: Sherwood Description Infusion RN under Providence Portland Medical Center with work location at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center Satellite Clinic. This is a Full-Time (0.9 FTE), Day Shift position. This position is based at a satellite clinic located in the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center Campus, but it is part of the Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) system. $6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center environment. Working with a preceptor initially and assuming increasing responsibility, the RN 1 is accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice. Key functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific checklist an in standards that are applicable to the specialty. Required Qualifications: • Nursing degree/diploma upon hire. • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License Or • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree Nursing; encouraged to obtain within 3 years of hire.
