Shift: Weekend Only - Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is a community teaching hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine, surgery, and a variety of specialties, caring for patients from birth through end-of-life.
Our nursing staff works in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams focused on a patient-centered care model within a diverse and supportive environment. Guided by the Nurse Manager and in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, our nurses leverage evidence-based practices to develop individualized care plans addressing patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.
Position Overview:
This is a 24-hour per week role requiring weekend, holiday coverage, and on-call responsibilities. You will function as a Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room, providing professional and individualized care in line with hospital policies and relevant standards.
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Certification as required by CT state law.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
• Specific prior experience in a relevant specialty may be required.
