Description The Inpatient Care Management Nurse provides essential, patient-centered care management services for at-risk patients in an acute care setting. Key responsibilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advocating for patients. Required Qualifications: • Associate's Degree in Nursing or diploma upon hire • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire • Two years of acute care experience in a medical-surgical or inpatient setting • IRR or annual competency testing in utilization review Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher within three years of hire • National certification in your specialty area • One year of care management or utilization review experience in any setting or successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program Why Join Providence?
