Join Our Team as an Inpatient Registered Nurse! We are excited to offer a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Take advantage of our competitive shift differentials, including 17% for Weekday Nights, 26% for Weekend Nights, and 15% for Weekend Day shifts. Your compensation will start at a minimum of $34.84/hr and may go up to a maximum of $47.33/hr, depending on various factors including experience and education. Position Details: • Department: Operating Room - BBRP • FTE: 1.00 (Full Time) • Shift: Days Position Summary: As an Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients across various age groups, ensuring a high standard of quality care. You will also take on clinical leadership responsibilities and promote a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • Deliver safe, direct patient care as required. • Adhere to hospital and departmental policies. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans. • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consents. • Participate in the orientation of new staff and assume precepting responsibilities. • Implement emergency measures for sudden patient complications. • Ensure thorough documentation in patient medical records. • Triage calls and respond to inquiries as per policy. • Administer medications, including IV medications, following the Seven Rights. • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families. • Engage in ongoing professional development through various educational opportunities. • Promote patient safety by actively identifying potential hazards and addressing them. • Encourage patients to participate in their care and voice concerns. Qualifications: • Education: Program Graduate from a Nationally Accredited Nursing Program. • Experience: No minimum experience required; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. • Credentials: CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers certification within 30 days, along with RN licensure in New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement. Physical Requirements: This role requires heavy work, including exerting between 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, and maintaining a safe working environment with regards to hazards such as chemicals and biohazard materials.
